I find many differenyt types of wood with which to make my hiking sticks. They include pine, maple, black walnut, birch. If you are looking for a particular type, let me know. I can't guarantee it, but if I come across it, I will let you know.
Your new hiking sticks is a natural product.It requires you to feed it every six to tweleve months with a good wood oil. Otherwise, it will dry out and die of old age. If you keep feeding it, it will age like good wine, it glows with age.
